Today, our import activities are focused in the European nations of France, Belgium, Holland and Spain; although we are continuously seeking new relationships and sources of exciting culinary products. Our business is to supply culinary professionals, a group with exacting standards and high expectations from their purveyors.

A family owned and operated business since being founded in 1991; the Company is based in Gurnee, Illinois. Our founders’ commitment to bringing Europe’s long tradition of fine pastry and dessert products to our professional customers holds true today.

The Company’s customer base spans the entire country and includes many of the country’s finest foodservice distributors who cater to top chefs, pastry chefs, bakers and caterers. We also work with many of the nations’ best grocers and dessert manufacturers. Our focus on selected product categories, customer groups and geographic markets enables us to stay in tune with our customers’ needs while being highly knowledgeable about the products that we import and the markets into which we sell.

International Foods & Ingredients’ product range includes a large selection of ready-to-fill pastry shells imported from France. We also import a carefully selected assortment of gourmet chocolate cups, decorations, and specialties from Holland and Spain. IFI’s entire range of chocolate products are produced by Europe’s leading manufacturers, and crafted from fine, European chocolate.

Our selection of European glazes, fillings and jams are produced in Holland by one of the world’s finest industrial bakery manufacturers. The Company also imports a range of frozen, finished pastry products from Belgium which includes miniature cream puffs and éclairs filled with pure dairy cream– an easy way to provide your customers with a true taste of European patisserie!
